Flamenco Dance Show, Seville, Spain

Watching a Flamenco Dance was in the top of our must do list in Seville. There was this theater La Casa Del Flamenco close to the hotel we were staying which had the Flamenco Dance shows in the evening.

We were already late for the first show in the evening and the second show which was to start at 8.30 too had all the tickets sold out. The organizers told us to return at 8 to check

I met her at Lal Bagh, Bangalore. She is one of the cleaners of the garden. I watched her for some time doing her duty very diligently; taking care to see no dry leaf or twig lay scattered around the sand sculpture of Bharat Ratna APJ Abdul Kalam. When I requested her for her pic she said everybody takes pic of Kalam Sir. (Noticed her hand that held a broom, adorned with glass bangles?)

The Roman Bridge, Cordoba, Spain

Just before exiting Cordoba we paused to have a good look at the Roman Bridge. We were actually wonder struck looking at the mighty structure existing from 1st century BC. Beneath the Roman Bridge, tamed for centuries by this bridge, River Guadalquivir silently flowed by.

Lal Bagh Flower Show, August 2015

The 202nd flower show recently concluded at Lal Bagh. Can you guess the number of visitors there yesterday, on Independence Day? It was close to 20,000 visitors! It took a while for the local police around to control the traffic and guide the visitors. Luckily I made a visit mid week, quite early in the morning when there were hardly any visitors.
